Orders received by 12:00 pm (noon) Pacific Standard Time (PST) Monday through Friday are usually shipped the same day. (Excluding Holidays)

As part of our Value Added-Service we at Ameriden try very hard to process and ship your order the same day we receive it. Occasionally, during monthly specials or heavy demand, your order may go out within 24-48 hours. You will be notified by e-mail in advance of any unusual delay. Ameriden cannot be held responsible for the slowness of a chosen service carrier or such things as Acts of God, i.e. inclement weather.

If you choose an expedited shipping method, please keep in mind it will only speed up the in-transit time not the order processing time.

How do you ship?

Ameriden's primary shipping option within the United States of America (USA) is (United Parcel Service) UPS Ground service to your physical street address. You may select other methods such as UPS 2 Day, UPS 3 Day, UPS Next Day Air Saver or UPS Next Day upon check out.

Ameriden's secondary shipping option within the United States of America (USA) is Standard shipping via the United States Postal Service (USPS) Priority mail or Express mail (2 - Day) service. Your order will be shipped to either a post office box or physical street address.

Any other Shipping Carrier option is at Buyer’s expense. Using Buyer’s shipping account number for any carrier obligates the Buyer, unconditionally, to pay for shipping despite the terms and conditions of the chosen carrier including refusal of order package. In addition, Buyer agrees to pay Ameriden a $10.00 handling fee of to cover additional costs associated with shipping carriers other than those available on the Ameriden web site.If you wish to originate another carrier option, please call Toll Free (888) 405-3336.

Hawaii, Alaska & Puerto Rico will ship by Ameriden's standard shipping method through the United States Postal Service (USPS) via Priority Mail or Express Mail (2 - Day) service.

International Shipping Information

To Canada: We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) International Priority mail or International Express mail only so that your orders are received timely and not held up due to customs regulations. Due to Canadian customs regulations, we can ONLY ship up to 12 bottles total per order in one package. If your order is over 12 bottles you risk seizure therefore orders over 12 bottles will be shipped in separate packages and you will be charged additional shipping per package.

Other International Shipments: We ship via United States Postal Service (USPS) International Priority Express or Express Mail (time to clear customs may vary, Ameriden does not guarantee time of delivery and Ameriden does not refund shipping on packages that are delayed by the USPO or customs if the package ultimately reaches its destination) *Please note International Priority Mail service is available in some countries outside of the United States of America, but it does take more time than Express Mail and may be limited in your area.  Please email us and we will do our best to check timing.

International Orders: We only ship complete orders. Your order will not ship until all items, including backorder items, are in stock and the order is complete. You will be notified by e-mail in advance of any unusual delay, or you may choose to cancel off an item that is back ordered and we will ship the balance at your request.

International Customs **CAUTION**

Before you place your order, please be aware of your local customs laws concerning the shipment of dietary supplements. International duties and taxes may be charged by your country’s Postal Service or Customs Dept. Please check with your local Postal Service/Customs Dept. to see if any additional fees may be charged upon delivery. In most cases the fees can be more than the product cost. Any fees or duty taxes are the sole responsibility of the customer. Ameriden will not be held responsible or accountable for any additional charges, taxes, duties, or tariff costs that you incur in relation to the delivery of your international order including, but not limited to quarantine fees or package warehousing fees that may be assessed by your local customs office. You are fully responsible for all taxes, duties, tariffs and customs laws imposed on any Ameriden orders imported to your country.

Customs Return or Refusal Policy

If a package is returned to Ameriden due to an incorrect address error when the order was placed, refused upon delivery or not allowed into the country by the local customs office. Ameriden reserves the right to charge the customer for any shipping charge(s) incurred upon return of order including a restocking charge. If the package is held by customs because the item(s) ordered are not allowed in your country or if the package is abandoned or destroyed there will be no credit given and no replacement of product to customer.

Incomplete Address

If an incomplete address is given, the customer will be notified via e-mail and the order will be shipped upon receipt of corrected ship to address. Please check your International Customs Laws before placing an order. Your local customs laws may not accept shipments of dietary supplements.

Verification

In order to prevent fraud, all international orders will be subject to additional verification at Ameriden’s discretion. You may receive an email from Ameriden requesting verification that you placed an order & accept the responsibility of possible taxes, duties or tariffs upon delivery of your order. Ameriden reserves the right to refuse, accept and or process any order.

Refunds

REFUNDS & CANCELLATIONS IN THE U.S. OR INTERNATIONAL Refunds or Cancellation of any order prior to shipping will be refunded. If an international order is destroyed or seized, you will not receive a refund. If an item is returned to Ameriden due to customer refusal, incorrect shipping address, customs, or postal related issues, or for any other reason other than “Damaged Product” your credit card will be credited for the product only; and you will be charged a 20% restocking fee plus any additional shipping charges that are incurred. If the cost to return the product(s) to Ameriden is larger than the cost of the refund due, Ameriden will instruct the carrier to abandon the order and there will be no credit for the order. Additionally; if the product(s) is seized by customs, there will be no credit processed for the product(s). If the product(s) is damaged and returned to Ameriden within 60 days of shipment a credit to your credit card will be credited for the product only. If the product is damaged Ameriden will replace the damaged product and resend using their chosen method of shipment. 

Why do you only use USPS International Priority Express Or Express Mail for International shipments?

We only offer USPS International Priority Express or Express Mail because it is secure, quick & cost effective. They have excellent tracking functionality and customer service follow-up.

UPS & similar carriers are excellent, but much more expensive and in some cases you may be charged additional handling fees when your package is delivered.

How is the cost of shipping my international order determined?

The shipping cost is based on weight and the destination of your package. At the time your order is placed the information is sent electronically to USPS for verification and the charge is calculated automatically. In some instances, this charge can be equal to or greater than the total cost of your order.

UPS Tracking Guidelines:

  • Your tracking number will be e-mailed to you when the order is shipped if you provide us with a current e-mail address.
  • If no e-mail address was provided you can contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-405-33361-888-405-3336 for the tracking number.
  • Go to www.ups.com. There, you can track you package or click on UPS Service Locator and enter your shipping address in the provided fields.
Orders Shipped within the United States

Cancelled, Intercepted or Address Change UPS Orders

Cancellation of any order prior to shipping will be refunded. Should you for whatever reason need to cancel your order, request a package intercept to change or reroute to another address after it has been shipped and is enroute to you, Ameriden will charge a $12.00 intercept/change of address fee to the credit card used for the order.

Refused Shipments

Any package refused upon delivery & returned to Ameriden is subject to a 20% restocking fee.

Incomplete Address

If an incomplete address is given, the customer will be notified via e mail and the order will be shipped upon receipt of corrected ship to address.

USPS Tracking Guidelines:

    • Go to www.usps.com and once there, click “Track & Confirm” or "Locate a Post Office".
    • Enter your tracking number or shipping address in the provided fields and follow the instructions given.

Why was my package returned to Ameriden?

Sometimes it’s the small things! We don’t like to see packages returned just as you don’t like not receiving them. An “order bounce back" is a very frustrating experience. Sometimes it can happen for a simple reason such as an incomplete shipping address or choosing the wrong carrier to deliver to your designated address.

Whatever the reason, we want to remedy it as fast as possible. We do our best to validate each address electronically through UPS and USPS. Occasionally the system cannot validate the address provided and will require us to contact you directly for more detailed information. Listing exact information in your ship to address will reduce the chance of your order being delayed or returned to Ameriden.

We suggest to help prevent this from happening that you review the check list below to make sure the address you give is complete and appropriate for the shipping carriers we offer.

Check List:

Business Locations:

    • Include the business name in your address.
    • Business buildings may also have a name such as “The Adams Building” or they may be located in a specifically named Business Park complex.
    • Businesses may have a specific floor number and or Suite number that must be included.
    • Make sure you list “in care of” example ( C/O John Doe, accounting dept room 5) in the address so that when a package is delivered it may be routed to you directly.

Residential Locations:

    • Be sure to include your apartment number, building complex number or location clearly in the address.
    • Make sure the correct Rural Route number or PO Box number is clearly stated.
    • If applicable, please provide additional delivery instructions such as “ok to leave with doorman/neighbor” or “leave at specific location on premises”.
    • If sending to a different location such as a vacation, friend or family’s home please make note of that in the additional instructions field.
    • Make sure you are requesting the correct carrier. Remember, United Parcel Service (UPS) WILL NOT deliver to a United States Postal Service (USPS) Post Office Box.
    • There are times when UPS and USPS will not deliver to an unattended location. If no one is home or they are unable to find a secure place to leave the package they typically will leave a delivery notice, instructions and options for redelivery or an alternate location where your package can be picked up, usually at your local USPS office or the local UPS office.
