You start to read a book and get two pages in and stop and wonder why something hasn’t popped up to tell you that you have a new message or somebody liked your post. So you put the book down and check social media.
Loss of Intellectual Abilities
Reading comments, viewing photos and clicking “like” are all activities that don’t take a bit of brainpower. It’s so easy to do that in little time, it becomes a habit. Basically, you don't use your brain when checking social media.
Social media doesn’t provide your brain with enough fuel for development. It could lead to a decline in intellectual abilities.
