The Best Men's Health Supplements and Camping

27th Jul 2018

We know exactly what you are thinking at this very moment. You are thinking about taking a three or four day weekend and going camping. Of course you are. It makes sense because we are right in the middle of camping season and before you know it, winter will be here and the snow will be falling. And then it’s too late to go camping.

To be completely honest, you have been thinking about taking some time off from work to go camping for quite some time because you read our article about the benefits of taking frequent vacations.

It’s true, your health will suffer if you don't take time off work and what better way to spend it by camping.

In the meantime, you need to prepare a list of all of the things you need to take with you on your camping trip. Ameriden, your source for the best men’s health supplements, is here to help you figure out what you need to pack.

Maps

You don't want to have to rely on your cell phone and cell phone service in case you wind up in a sticky situation or get completely lost. We admit, smartphones have really cool apps that can get you out of a pickle should you get lost, but maps have one huge advantage; maps don’t need to be recharged to work.

Flashlight

Don’t for a minute think that a campfire is going to give you sufficient light. You need to have at least one flashlight to provide light away from the campfire. You know, should you need to check out a noise or something like that.

In addition to a flashlight, you should also pack plenty of extra batteries.

Backpack

Even if you aren't planning on doing any hiking, you really need to bring a backpack. A backpack is a perfect way to stay organized during your camping trip. It is the best place to keep your first aid kit, your firestarter and your hats and gloves.

First Aid Kit

We all hope your camping trip is a safe one, but you still need to pack a first aid kit just in case. You and your family might well make it through the camping trip without so much as a cut or a bruise, but there is still the chance someone might suffer a bug bite or a little sunburn.

Water

There will be some of you out there who will pack an abundance of beer, soda or other beverages, but will completely forget to pack some water.

Food

Obviously, you will want to pack your meat items including hamburger, steaks and chicken. But don't forget to pack buns, mustard and pickles. It seems as though a lot of people forget to pack pickles. It’s a shame because no camping trip burger is complete without pickles.

Also, make sure you pack the chips and dip and the sides you like to eat like beans, potato chips or salad mix.

Tent

The type of tent you choose to bring with you on your camping trip is quite important. A good tent is waterproof, large enough to comfortably hold all members of the family and needs to be well-ventilated.

Sleeping Bag

The type of sleeping bag you pack depends a lot on the weather forecast and where you will be doing your camping.

For example, if you are camping in an area where it gets very cold at night, you will need a sleeping bag rated for low temperatures. This is especially true if you are sleeping in a tent or directly under the stars.

If you are camping in a camper that is parked at a campground in Southern California, it is unlikely you will need a heavy duty sleeping bag.

Clothes

It might be July and hot as heck where you live, but never take the weather for granted. You can have a beautiful morning with temperatures in the 80s and by afternoon a complete turn of events.

A severe rainstorm can cool things down considerately, so you want to be prepared. Make sure you have plenty of warm clothes packed just in case.

One last thing, don't forget to pack your supplements like Beta Factor and Rosavin from Ameriden
